Table Potatoes
Our business started with the production of table potatoes. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide our customers with high quality red potatoes on a year round basis.
New crop potatoes are typically available in the beginning of August and we normally finish 
shipping the previous crop at about the same time.
The red varieties we are currently using in commercial production are Dark Red Norland, Red Norland, NorDonna, Sangre, and Viking.
In addition to Reds, we also produce yellow skin and russet type table potatoes. Our current yellow variety is the popular Yukon Gold. We are currently working together with a Canadian potato breeder and Peak of the Market to bring a new yellow skin potato, called Lady Christl, to the market. Our russet baking variety of choice is currently Goldrush.
Our table potatoes are proudly marketed under the Peak of the Market brand name. Peak of the Market is a grower owned vegetable marketing board located in Winnipeg Manitoba. This board enables the table potato growers of Manitoba to work as a team and provide constant supply to the market.
The table potatoes are washed and packaged in our own state of the art wash plant located in Winkler, Manitoba.
