Seed Potatoes
The seed farm is located just 5 miles south of the City of Winkler. We offer a variety of red, yellow, white, and russet skin potatoes.
We start with E2 potatoes which are originally propagated in quarantined areas of Canada and the United states.
We have a desire and are willing to work with customers on specific needs and standards. We want to help you accomplish your goals.
We are able to package in a variety of different ways from mini bulks, bags, and bulk floor loads.
Our facility enables us to load out in nearly all weather conditions.
The seed farm has total separation from the commercial farm. This includes separate farm site, equipment and management.
All of our seed lots are tested for BRR at Phyto Diagnostics in British Columbia. We can also have tests performed at this lab for a variety of other pests and can provide customers with test results upon request. Phyto Diagnostics is a CFIA accredited lab.
Seed lots are also sampled at harvest and grow out tests are performed over winter in Hawaii to determine virus levels. Leaf samples are also taken in Hawaii for lab testing at Phyto Diagnostics. Results for this can be requested in early February.
Many of the varieties raised on the seed farm are also used on our commercial farm. We are happy to offer agronomic advice and our experiences in production of all our varieties.
