Keith Kuhl – President and CEO
Keith has also been with the company since the beginning. Before the year 2000 when Keith assumed his position as CEO he was managing all production operations. Keith is also extremely dedicated to the potato industry and has been involved in many boards such as Peak of the Market, The Canadian Horticultural Council, Canadian/US Negotiating Committees and many others.
Marlon Kuhl – Commercial Production and Sales
Marlon has been working as the farm manager since his graduation from the University of Manitoba’s School of Agriculture in 2000. Marlon has now also taken on the responsibility of overseeing the wash plant as well as commercial marketing.
Jeremy Kuhl – Seed Potato Production and Sales
Jeremy has been working as the grain farm manager since graduating from the University of Manitoba’s School of Agriculture in 2004. He has now also assumed responsibility for management of seed potato production and marketing.
Gerry Peters – Controller & Administration Management
Gerry joined the company in early 2007. He is a graduate of the CGA program and has over 15 years of experience in accounting.
John Kuhl – Chairman of the Board
John Kuhl is the founder of Southern Manitoba Potato Co. Ltd, and has had an integral part in bringing the company to where it is today. Although John has slowed down in terms of work, he still brings years of knowledge to the table when making large decisions on the farm as well as leading the Board of Directors. John has always been extremely committed to the well being of the potato industry and has been involved in many improvements through his role in different Boards and committees including the Canadian Horticultural Council and Peak of the Market.
