We are committed to an intense scouting program that enables us to make chemical application decisions only on as needed basis. Computerized rate controllers together with GPS assisted steering are used on our sprayers to ensure that application is precise.
Soil tests are also performed every year to monitor nutrient levels in the soil. Variable fertilizer rate controllers are used to ensure that each field gets only the fertilizer that is necessary for the crop; this insures that residual rates will be left at a level which is safe for the land and the people living around the land.
